Privacy Policy
Last updated 27 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Amive ("we", "us") collects through amive.in, how we use it, and the choices you have. Amive is run by Samiksha Bhogar and Aastha Baheti from Gujarat, India.
What we collect
- Enquiries: when you use our enquiry form, your name, phone number, email address (optional), your message and the product you asked about.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
- WhatsApp: when you message us, your WhatsApp name and number and the messages you send. WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy policy.
- Orders: the name, delivery address and contact details you give us so we can deliver, and the payment reference for your order. We never see your card details or banking passwords.
- Technical data: like most websites, our server and Cloudflare (which protects the site and makes it faster) record technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open, to keep the site secure and working.
We don't use advertising or analytics trackers. Your wishlist and recent searches are saved only in your own browser and are never sent to us.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiries and messages.
- To confirm, pack and deliver your orders, and to handle exchanges or returns.
- To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed.
- To keep the website secure and to prevent spam and misuse.
- To keep the records the law requires, such as for tax.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only when needed:
- with the companies that run our website: Amazon Web Services (our servers, in Mumbai, India) and Cloudflare;
- with courier partners, who receive your name, address and phone number to deliver your order;
- with authorities, when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and order details for as long as we need them to help you and for our records, including any period the law requires. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Server visit logs are kept for a short time only. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, unless we're required by law to keep it.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or updated, have it deleted, or withdraw your consent, for example by unsubscribing from the newsletter. Email us at [email protected] and we'll respond as soon as we can, and within 30 days at the latest.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), only the people who need it can access your information, and we keep regular backups. No method of storing data is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect it.
Children
Our website is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian, and ask them to contact us on your behalf.
